Microsoft distributed 2 Office 2007 editions for Volume Licensing: Enterprise and Professional Plus.

These discs can readily be identified by the \Admin folder at the root of the CD. Volume Licensing

requires a correct key, but no other activation is used, unlike retail editions of Office.

The service pack can be added to the ISO in the \Updates directory, and when this is done, the installer will automatically apply the service pack as part of the installation. Likewise, the contents of the CD can be extracted to hard disk, and again, with the service pack copied to \Updates, it will be applied during the installation.
